How data is handled

From export to review

A file-based workflow.

  1. Export

FitnessSyncer exports Garmin activity files to a folder in the owner’s Google Drive.

  2. Import

A local collector downloads supported FIT files from that configured folder, records their receipt and retains an archive.

  3. Review

A local dashboard presents available activity measurements and import status. Missing or unvalidated metrics remain clearly identified.

Google Drive access

Read-only access.
Local analysis.

The owner authorises Google Drive access through Google’s sign-in and consent screen. The permission allows reading across the account; the collector limits its own requests to one configured folder.

The app does not upload, edit or delete Drive files. Downloaded fitness files, imported records and credentials are stored on the owner’s computer.

This website provides information about the application. The fitness dashboard is accessed locally and is not hosted here.
